Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo East

Day 1 – Nairobi → Masai Mara

• Early morning departure from Nairobi in 4x4 jeep, with a pop-up roof
• Drive through the Great Rift Valley with scenic stops.
• Arrival at Masai Mara, Capital of the Big Five, for lunch at lodge/tented camp.
• Afternoon game drive: lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras.
• Dinner & overnight in Masai Mara.

Day 2 – Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru

• Early breakfast.
• Morning game drive in Mara with a chance to spot the Big Five.
• Departure to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5 hrs).
• Lunch at lodge & short rest.
• Afternoon safari: flamingos, pelicans, white & black rhinos, leopards (if lucky).
• Dinner & overnight in Nakuru.

Day 3 – Nakuru → Amboseli

• Early breakfast.
• Departure to Amboseli National Park (6–7 hrs).
• Arrival for lunch & relaxation.
• Afternoon safari with spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
• Sightings: large elephant herds, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, cheetahs, hippos.
• Dinner & overnight in Amboseli.

Day 4 – Amboseli → Tsavo East

• Early breakfast.
• Morning safari in Amboseli, then transfer to Tsavo East (approx. 4 hrs).
• Lunch at lodge/tented camp.
• Afternoon game drive along the Galana River & Aruba Dam.
• Sightings: red elephants, lions, giraffes, ostriches, crocodiles, buffalo.
• Dinner & overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 5 – Tsavo East → Watamu

• Early breakfast.
• Morning game drive in the park.
• Exit Tsavo East & transfer to the coast.
• Lunch en route.
• Arrival in Watamu/Malindi in the afternoon, for relaxing finale on the Indian Ocean coast

Tips:

Comfortable shoes and clothing, swimsuit, passport, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, tropical insect repellent binocolar and camera.
